Midas

I have been coming to this midas location for all my car issues over anywhere else for years, today that changed. I will not be coming back. Earlier this year this location took on new management and every time I have been here since then it has been awful. The new front desk lady is extremely rude and they are unwilling to be accommodating. Previous management would get you in same day, now they tell you to wait a week. Services they previously offered are met with being told they “don’t do that anymore.” Seems like previous management cared about actually helping people and the new management only cares about making a buck.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. From the moment I spoke with her on the phone, she had a hostile attitude, raised her voice, and was very difficult to deal with. I was so uncomfortable with the interaction that I had a friend take me to pick up my car immediately, and he also witnessed the disrespectful way I was treated. I have been a loyal Midas customer for years and have spent thousands of dollars on repairs and maintenance. Because of the positive experiences I had at the Massillon location, I continued choosing Midas whenever possible. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my opinion. I was initially told there would be no charge to inspect my vehicle. Later, when I was informed they wanted to install a used sway bar, I declined the repair. At that point, I was told I would be charged $30 for a diagnosis, which was not what I had originally been told. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disrespectful treatment were extremely disappointing. As a long-time customer, I expected much better. I will not be returning or spending another dollar at this location.

The desk customer service staff was amazing!! Very friendly and informative. They also thought I had to get more work done but found out some of it wasn’t needed and it was almost $100 less than the usual estimate!! I love Midas on Tusc!!

I always return and get my oil changes at this Midas. They are very caring mechanics. I appreciate their overall inspections of my vehicles. They treat their customers like they care about helping them not just getting money out of them and that’s something that I really appreciate !!!!!!

Was at this midas 3 months ago with my 2005 Toyota rav 4 and they misdiagnosed my check engine light for an evap leak. They originally told us it was for a gas cap which we shelled out money to get from Toyota directly when theirs didn't work. Then they sold us exhaust clamps to try and fix it thinking it was an exaust leak. Then turns out our gas filler neck was rusted through and it was somehow missed. (pictures attached) They also said our breaks were fine and didn't need replacement however they never took the tires off during the inspection. My rear calipers were seased and I ended up needing breaks calipers and rotors today. We are no longer a customer here at this midas and will go elsewhere. Lying straight to my face about removing the tires and doing a break inspection is unacceptable
